Meet Dr. Kimberly Winton

I am from a small town in Missouri and I grew up having a variety of interests, from athletics to reading to art: this is what drew me to a career in dentistry. The thrill of being able to use scientific principles applied in an artistic setting while interacting with and providing help to people was, and still is, my motivation for advancement in this field. I am thrilled that as a dentist, I have the opportunity to work closely with patients, get to know them and their families, and to be a force for good in their lives.

Having balance in life keeps us healthy and motivated, and I strive to maintain a fun-filled personal life. Moving to the Northwest with my husband has stirred new passions, as well as provided an opportunity to delve further into tried and true interests. We both love to ski, hike, bike, rock climb, and generally be in the great outdoors, and when home, love to cook and bake for friends and family. Continuing my education at the University of Washington seemed a perfect fit for me. I graduated from their General Practice Residency Program in 2011, and prior to that, I attended the University of Missouri, Kansas City-School of Dentistry.

Being an active part of my community is important to me, and I am excited to bring this enthusiasm to work with me every day. I am an active member of the Washington State Dental Association, as well as their local county associations. I enjoy staying up to date with modern dental techniques and technology by being active in various study clubs and by frequently attending dental continuing education courses.
